Rye Little League offers the following seasons:

Spring Season

Players Little League Ages 6-12 play ball from April through June.  All games are played in Rye against other Rye teams.  Usual game times Monday through Friday are at 6pm (warm ups 5:15) and game times on Saturdays span across the day. Sunday's are potentially used for make up games.

Registered players Little League Ages 9-12 will also have an opportunty to tryout out for the "Rye Warriors" travel teams. These travel teams are optional and run by Warrior Baseball Academy. There will be one team of approximately 15 players from each of the Little League Age 9, 10, 11, and 12 groups. More details to come on these travel teams in February 2021.

At the end of our Spring Season, Tournament Teams for each of our Little League Age 10, 11, and 12 players are formed. Players and coaches vote for players to tryout for these teams based on performance during the Spring Season. More details can be found under "Clinics and Events".

Summer Season

We have no formal Rye Little League summer program for our Intermediates and Majors players, as we have found that availability and interest tails off substantially once school ends. Our Little League Age 9-12 players who played on the Rye Warriors spring travel team will continue to play on those teams in the summer, with games beginning in late June/early July and finishing in mid-August. To the extent positions open up on those teams in the summer, another tryout may be run to fill those spots.

Minor players (Little League Age 7 and 8) will have an opportunity to play in a Rye Little League in-house league, with games at Milton School. This season goes from late June/early July through mid-August. Unlike the spring season's coach pitch, kids will pitch to the batter in this summer league.

Fall Ball

Our Little League Age 9-11 players who played
on the Rye Warriors spring and/or summer travel team will continue to play on those teams in the fall, with games beginning in early September and finishing in late October.

Based on interest levels, additional in-house teams may be formed.
