Your "Little League Age" is determined by your age on May 1st of this year.

If your birthday is May 20, 2001 your LL Age is 8 for all seasons of play in 2010 (spring, summer and fall).  Even though you turn 9 during the season, your summer "LL Age" is still 8.

Rye Little League offers three divisons of play:

Majors
Players are 12 years old (and 11 year olds who are drafted for the tryout).  Pitching is by players.  Commissioner is Myles Lavelle.

Intermediates
Players are 10 and 11 years old.  Pitching is by players.  Players who are 11 years old (second year of Intermediates) can be drafted into the Majors.  Commissioners are Jim Ackert and Greg Hale.

Minors
Players are 8 and 9 year olds.  Pitching is done by a pitching machine in the spring season.  Summer season is a kid pitch game.  Commissioners are Steve Agosta and Tom Lavelle.
